About the Role:
KANG PAVING is seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team. As a Concrete Mason, you will be responsible for installing and finishing concrete structures, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it meets the required density.
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools, meeting the project's aesthetic requirements.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces, protecting them from damage and ensuring durability.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces, addressing any defects or damage.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures, maintaining the integrity of the structure.
Requirements:
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field or equivalent experience.
- Availability for shift or on-call work, as required.
- Availability for the advertised start date.
- Legal ability to work in Canada.
- Willingness to relocate for this position.
- Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
- Previous experience in this field of employment.
