Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Worker to provide care and companionship to individuals and families in need. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
  • Support clients with mobility and ambulation, including transfers and walking assistance
  • Administer medications and collect specimens, as directed by a healthcare professional
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Requirements
  • Secondary school education is required
  • Home care worker experience is an asset
  • College or other courses in home support is an asset
  • Completion of a training program in care of the elderly is an asset
