Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Engineer to lead our AI/ML infrastructure platform solutions team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for defining complex AI/ML infrastructure platform solutions and leading a multi-disciplined team to bring them to implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define AI/ML Infrastructure Platform Solutions: Develop and maintain close technical relationships with suppliers/partners on product roadmaps and technologies.
  • Lead Technical Responses and Platform Concept Development: Provide effective trade-off analysis and competitive guidance to engineering teams and customers.
  • Deliverables and Technical Support: Deliverables include System Requirements Documents (SRD), requirement compliance assessments, and technical proposals. Act as a primary technical interface between us and our customers, particularly in technical escalation.
  • Business Development and Process Improvement: Provide technical support to business development teams to assist in the winning of new business. Identify and champion process improvement efforts as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of server and/or AI/ML accelerator hardware design experience. 5 years of AI infrastructure system design experience.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Nvidia, AMD, Intel, or other modern GPU accelerators and support systems. Successful experience architecting and delivering server/storage/converged products to market.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent customer presentation skills; interface and interact with large OEM customers on ongoing product-related issues and new product design concepts.

  • Industry Participation: Prior participation in industry groups and associations.
  • System Level Integration: System level integration, interoperability, and test experience.
Travel and Location

This is a remote position, with travel as necessary. We are open to considering candidates close to any of our US locations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, or California, as well as locations near major airports such as the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, and Pacific Coast.
