Bhoora Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods at designated locations, taking care to secure cargo and prevent damage.
  • Obtain Permits and Documents: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs, including brake adjustments and other necessary maintenance.
  • Inspections and Record Keeping: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transport.
