About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Okanagan Yard Works. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and performing other outdoor labour tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Assist our experienced team with various landscape construction projects, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, such as cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Work Setting: Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Handle heavy loads and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
