Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to perform a variety of x-ray exams and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring high-quality images and a safe working environment.
- Monitor and adjust equipment to optimize image quality and patient safety.
- Perform non-contrast CT examinations as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with departmental protocols and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
- Strong knowledge of the CMRTO's Essential Competencies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
