Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Radiation Technologist to perform a variety of x-ray exams and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiography and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, ensuring high-quality images and a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and adjust equipment to optimize image quality and patient safety.
  • Perform non-contrast CT examinations as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with departmental protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiography.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).
  • Strong knowledge of the CMRTO's Essential Competencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
