About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 9362-9244 Québec inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure all kitchen areas, including tables, trays, chairs, and equipment, are clean and sanitized to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing and washing vegetables and fruits, as well as sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Inventory Management: Help maintain inventory levels by stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and sanitizing kitchen equipment, including food dispensers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English or French language proficiency is required.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, take initiative, and be dependable.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
