Furniture Craftsman

Rana Development Ltd. is seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality furniture and woodwork for our clients.

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Survey building locations and levels
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

• Bending, crouching, kneeling

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
