Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Permanent Part Time

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at our new long-term care home in Cornwall, Ontario.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to provide direct personal and nursing care to our residents, enhancing their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing direct care to residents, including personal care and nursing tasks.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
  • Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Support your colleagues in providing high-quality care.

Qualifications:

  • PSW Program Certificate or diploma that meets the standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
  • Passion and commitment to providing quality care.
  • Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, residents, and families.
