About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Prabhat Nagar. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work from their own home, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Tasks:
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
    • Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
    • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
    • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
    • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
    • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring they feel safe and secure.
    • Supervise and care for children, providing a stable and loving environment.
  • Target Audience: The successful candidate will have experience in caring for twins and be able to provide individualized attention to each child.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We offer support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring they feel welcome and valued in our team.
  • Support for Youths: Our team provides on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Support for Indigenous People: We are committed to creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers, providing cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
  • Work Terms: The successful candidate will work on a permanent basis, with a guaranteed 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
