Job Summary

The Millwright Journeyman will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment, machinery, and mechanical components. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, align, fit, dismantle, and move industrial equipment, machinery, and mechanical components.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Inspect and examine equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, and adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Operational Support: Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, loaders, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair of equipment.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience working with or on drilling rig equipment is considered an asset.
  • Certifications: Must be a registered Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright.
  • Licenses: Must have a valid Vehicle Operation License (abstract required).
