Electronics Engineer

At Infineon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Technician/Senior Technician to join our team in the Power & Sensor Systems division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-voltage and high-power electrical experiments, assembling and testing various boards, and setting up and dismantling test equipment and laboratory setups.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-voltage and high-power electrical experiments according to given procedures or under the supervision of component verification engineers.
- Support and coordinate the assembly and testing of various boards.
- Set up and dismantle test equipment and laboratory setups for experiments.
- Document, review, and report all test results accurately.
- Manage lab safety requirements and maintain calibration and maintenance records.
- Support system troubleshooting, including soldering and desoldering components from PCB boards.
- Inspect and test electronic equipment and components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, probes, and other electronic test instruments and tools.
- Oversee lab inventory and contact suppliers to order equipment and components.
- Diploma or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the related field or training.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations and/or (as necessary):
- The individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.
- Proficient in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test instruments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electronic circuits and executing precise soldering tasks based on schematic diagrams and PCB layouts.
- Familiarity with component datasheets and specification documentation.
- Experience with high-voltage and high-power testing procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
