Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at SOUTH WEST BULK EXPRESS INC. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and organizing operational logistics of the organization, co-ordinating activities with other work units or departments, and preparing and submitting reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and organize operational logistics, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion of tasks.
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Prepare and submit accurate and comprehensive reports on a regular basis.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime and ensure equipment functionality.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient task allocation and completion.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational requirements.
- Organize and maintain inventory to prevent stockouts and optimize storage capacity.

- A strong background in logistics management, with experience in planning and coordinating operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues.
- Proficiency in inventory management and control procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- A high degree of accuracy and reliability in completing tasks and reporting.
