Job Summary

Quicklink Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck and ensuring the efficient transportation of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the dump truck, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency repairs to the vehicle as needed.
  • Logistics and Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with central dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Class 1 or A Driver's License.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Work Environment

As a Dump Truck Driver with Quicklink Trucking Ltd., you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work overtime as needed and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
