Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at O&B Artisan. As a Baker, you'll be part scientist and part artist, responsible for creating a wide range of baked goods for our fine dining restaurants. You'll need to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques, and be able to tailor recipes to meet the unique tastes and preferences of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet the needs of our restaurants.
  • Measure and mix ingredients to create a variety of baked goods, following established recipes and techniques.
  • Monitor the baking process to ensure quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
  • Use a range of kitchen tools and equipment, including electric mixers, pans, and cutting tools.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and products, working closely with our culinary team.

Requirements

  • Completed a Baker/Patisserie Apprentice Program and/or Baking and Pastry Arts Management program.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a bakery or restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of ingredients and baking techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
