Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development and Assessment

  • Academic Operations
    • Manage the scheduling of undergraduate and graduate courses
    • Coordinate with instructors to ensure accurate course information
    • Develop and maintain departmental databases and systems
  • Accreditation and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and requirements
    • Develop and implement accreditation reports and documentation
    • Collaborate with faculty members to prepare for accreditation site visits
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with faculty members, staff, and students

Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation required
  • Several years of experience working in an academic environment, preferably in engineering education
  • Demonstrated experience with curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced academic environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. The ability to manage competing demands and prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
