We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Mail Services Representative to join our team in Beardmore, Ontario. This on-call position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing counter services to customers and utilizing a customer-focused approach.

About the Role

This role involves selling postal products and services to businesses and the public, sorting and distributing mail, and addressing delivery and service difficulties. The ideal candidate will have high school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration, as well as training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sell postal products and services to the business community and public
  • Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications
  • Provide customers with information and forms
  • Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly
Requirements
  • High school or provincial equivalency and/or experience in business administration
  • Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment
  • Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
  • Physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
Estimated Salary: $18,441 per year
