Job Summary

Banquet Servers at Chelsea Hotel, Toronto are responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during events and functions. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tables and banquet areas before events, ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Efficiently serve food and beverages to guests, adhering to the required service style.
  • Clear tables and banquet areas after events, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and direct them to relevant staff members, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct themselves with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues, and management.

Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage service experience.
  • Guest service etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Smart Serve Certification and Secondary (High) School graduate.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate well in English.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, lift, and reach.
