Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and Simply Accounting.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and time management.
