Job Title: Senior Associate, Fire Investigations

At 30 Forensic Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Fire Investigations team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in leading investigations, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead investigations and provide technical expertise in fire and explosion investigations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Develop and implement investigation plans, including desk studies and field investigations
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members
  • Communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Minimum of years' experience in fire and explosion investigations
  • Current registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC and APEGA
  • Current Fire and Explosion investigator (CFEI) certification
  • Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards, including NFPA and NFPA
Competencies and Attributes:
  • Strong technical expertise in fire and explosion investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
