We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at DCT Chambers Trucking Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer B train and transporting goods across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a tractor-trailer B train and transport goods across various routes
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
- Load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and its equipment
- Communicate with central dispatch and relay information regarding vehicle status and cargo
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo through tarping and other measures
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
