Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Ccaa Infant and Toddler Child Care Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves working with infants and toddlers, engaging them in activities, and providing a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in keeping records and preparing reports for parents and guardians
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a child care setting
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
