Job Description:

Lodex Transport Ltd is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our mechanics and other personnel, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Transport tools, equipment, and materials as required, utilizing company vehicles or manual methods.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of surveying activities, working closely with surveyors and other teams.
  • Provide general labor support to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers, following instructions and guidelines.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and industry standards.
  • Support the operation, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment, under the supervision of experienced technicians.
Security and Safety:
  • Possess basic security clearance, meeting company requirements.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Combine periods of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Be prepared to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Personal Suitability:
  • Demonstrate flexibility in your work approach, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Display strong organizational skills, managing time and resources efficiently.
  • Show reliability and responsibility in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. English is the primary language used in the workplace.
