Job Summary:

CSA Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, Transit and Agrifood to lead the development of standards for the transit and passenger rail sector, as well as the agri-food sector. This role requires a strong understanding of the industry and the ability to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple standards development committees, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to CSA Directives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry experts, manufacturers, academia, researchers, scientists, and government representatives.
  • Identify new business development opportunities and develop proposals to expand the portfolio into new areas.
  • Oversee all aspects of the standards development process, including committee management, technical writing, and project resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures, as well as accreditation requirements from the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a science or engineering discipline, or other related area of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 3-5 years in Standards Development or Project Management.
  • Experience in writing proposals, business plans, and technical documents.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to learn and work with multiple software platforms.
