Continuous Improvement Specialist

About the Role:
The Continuous Improvement and Supply Chain Leader will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and optimizing the supply chain strategy at ATS Automation. This individual will possess a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to implementing process improvements, driving change within the organization, and ensuring a robust and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute an ABM roadmap at ATS and act as a champion for ABM excellence.
• Provide formal and informal training and coaching on ABM tools and methodologies.
• Promote and facilitate development in various ABM tools, transactional improvements, and kaizen leadership.
• Drive ABM culture and build ABM excellence within the organization.
• Benchmark and incorporate best practices within ATS and outside organizations.
• Assist in establishing and achieving the Goal Deployment and Strategic Plan objectives.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to analyze current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices.
• Evaluate and appoint a Global ATS Supply Chain Leader who would be specifically driving the Supply Chain objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic third-party suppliers that result in the development of next-generation tools and products that will enable ATS to deliver to its customers.
• Through the new Global IA Supply Chain Leader develop and implement supply chain strategies that ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials, products, and information.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance reliability and responsiveness.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of supply and achieve best in class performance.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to drive supply chain innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Innovative thinker with a passion for excellence and a commitment to lifelong learning.
