Job Title: Food Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc O/A A & W Restaurant. As a Food Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and make adjustments as needed
  • Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and training as required
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Recruit and train staff to ensure that our restaurant is fully staffed and equipped to meet customer demand
  • Set staff work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget
  • Supervise staff and ensure that our restaurant is operating in a safe and healthy environment
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and make recommendations for staff development and training
  • Cost products and services to ensure that our restaurant is operating within budget
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our restaurant has the necessary supplies and equipment to meet customer demand
  • Ensure that our restaurant is in compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and increase customer demand
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
