Job Title: Product Development Vice President

State Street is seeking a highly skilled Product Development Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our financial engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing custom models within the liquidity risk space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom models to estimate market depth and market impact across all major asset types.
  • Collaborate with other members of the financial engineering team and technical support teams to design model specifications.
  • Develop and maintain liquidity risk models, from raw data analysis to model prototyping, documentation, testing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Work with model risk governance group to obtain model approval for use in a production environment.
  • Advise clients and Client Service teams on complex issues surrounding liquidity risk management analytics.
  • Provide financial specifications for the design of new risk management analytics functionality.
  • Identify data requirements for liquidity risk solutions and work closely with our data team to determine sources and mappings for this data.

Requirements:

  • Strong mathematical and quantitative skills, with an advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics.
  • 5+ years' experience working in a quantitative setting group within the financial sector, with experience working with fixed income transaction and quotes data.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, with working knowledge of common data science libraries.
  • Experience in project management and delivery.
