Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Automation Platform Engineering to lead our team of engineers responsible for delivering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) at scale across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development and delivery of virtualized infrastructure, including VMs, databases, and storage.
  2. Drive engineering excellence, focusing on best practices for software development, automation, and operations.
  3. Empower teams to achieve high productivity by identifying and removing blockers, promoting innovation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Engage cross-functionally with DevOps, Digital, Security, Cloud, and traditional infrastructure teams to align on initiatives and deliver IaaS with cloud-like capabilities on traditional infrastructure.
  5. Champion the adoption of modern engineering practices, including cloud-native development, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps.
Requirements
  1. Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation.
  2. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and microservices architecture.
  3. Strong experience in DevOps, security, and traditional infrastructure management.
  4. Proven ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing engineering teams.
