Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Royal Cleaning Services Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and dust-free environment
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Language and Work Term

The language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.

Hours of work are 30 hours per week.
