Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Big Sky Camp Catering Ltd. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Housekeeping room attendant certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, basic security clearance.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Housekeeping room attendant certification and WHMIS Certificate.
