Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced cabinetmaker apprentice to join our team at Elite Custom Kitchen and Bath. As a skilled woodworker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering 35-44 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made and ensure accurate execution.
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints.
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance on tasks and projects.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project.
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer needs.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. This amount may vary depending on individual circumstances.
