Senior Cost Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our Real Estate team, you will work closely with top clients to deliver exceptional results on major programs.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an ambitious and forward-thinking professional to take on a senior role in cost management. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost estimates, managing and mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the development and implementation of change control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and comprehensive cost estimates and plans
  • Manage and mentor junior staff to ensure their growth and development
  • Participate in the development and implementation of change control procedures
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in the design process
  • Review and assure construction cost estimates produced by others
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized University Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • At least 7 years of post-graduate experience in cost management
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation and planning principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
