Job Description:

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing technical aspects and activities of construction on the site safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements to ensure the successful completion of the transit infrastructure project.

The primary duties include closely collaborating with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and stakeholders, and providing expertise in secant piles, struts, underground structures, and concrete placement.

  • Supervise day-to-day construction activities onsite to ensure they align with the project plans and specifications.
  • Monitor the work of contractors and labourers to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve any issues related to engineering or construction onsite.
  • Ensure proper interpretation and application of architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to verify that materials and workmanship meet project standards.
  • Assist in planning construction activities and developing schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure timely progress.
  • Implement and enforce safety measures and conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
