Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Saint-Hyacinthe. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in managing financial information systems. As a key member of the accounting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform comparative analyses for various accounts in the general ledger.
• Ensure the integrity of capital projects, inventories, and databases.
• Analyze variances and actual budgets.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Manage the company's monthly and annual tax returns.
• Invoicing and follow-up of customer files.
• Perform bank reconciliations and deposits.
• Participate in annual audits.
• Implement and supervise internal controls.
• Supervise administrative support staff.
• Manage payroll process (less than 100 employees).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BAC in Accounting or equivalent experience; CPA an asset.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Excellent command of Office Suite.
• Knowledge of ERP systems: Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics/Navision.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Bilingualism required to interact with the financial controller in Chicago.
• Autonomous, resourceful, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make proactive decisions.
• Attention to detail, rigor, and sense of precision.
