About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our client, a large real estate group, on a permanent full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, integrity, discretion, and be organized, proactive, versatile, and able to work in a team with initiative.

The successful candidate will have experience in payroll processing, time management, employee file administration, and disability, CNESST, maternity/paternity, and group insurance files. They will also be familiar with end-of-year reports, salary declarations, and training records.

In this role, you will act as a resource person for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on payroll-related matters. You will interact with the Human Resources department to obtain, clarify, or correct information received. Additionally, you will contribute to end-of-month activities, meet deadlines, and participate in production of reports.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A DEC in accounting/administration or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • ACCP (Canadian Payroll Association) training is an asset
  • Experience with payroll and human resources systems, preferably Employeur D (Desjardins)
  • Knowledge of unionized contexts and collective agreements
  • Intermediate/advanced level Excel skills
  • Familiarity with time management systems (Agile/Synerion)
  • Intermediate French & English language proficiency

This is a hybrid position with a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
