Deerhaven Farms is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Farm Worker to join our team. As a General Farm Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to animal care, farm maintenance, and crop management.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling and caring for livestock, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring animal health
- Performing general farm duties, such as cleaning, maintenance, and repairs
- Assisting with crop management, including planting, harvesting, and irrigation
- Working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in agriculture or a related field an asset
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Deerhaven Farms is a rural area with a remote location. The work site environment is outdoors, with exposure to hot temperatures, odours, and livestock. The work setting is a rural area, with room and board provided. Relocation costs are not covered by the employer, but willingness to relocate is a requirement.
