We are seeking an enthusiastic educator to join our team as an Outdoor Kindergarten teacher at Parkland School Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and progressive school environment, surrounded by nature and a close-knit community.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a kindergarten program that focuses on outdoor education and experiential learning. The teacher will work closely with the community to foster a learning environment that values respect for nature and cultural heritage.
Responsibilities
- Teach a kindergarten program that incorporates outdoor education and experiential learning
- Work closely with the community to develop a learning environment that values respect for nature and cultural heritage
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree and valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Experience teaching Early Years level is an asset
- Strong background in assessment and differentiating instruction is a definite asset
