We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Governance and Compliance Expert to join our team at Canadian Bank Note Company, Limited. As a key member of our Corporate Information Security group, you will play a critical role in developing, delivering, and managing risk and compliance programs that align with our organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Monitoring and Management: Develop and implement emerging compliance programs, ensuring our IT systems and procedures comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Identify and evaluate IT risks, develop and maintain our ongoing IT Security risk management program, and collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks.
- Audit Planning, Execution, and Reporting: Design and lead comprehensive audits of IT systems, applications, and processes to ensure they meet appropriate security and compliance standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and support to other compliance and risk resources, coach junior compliance resources, and assist in investigating security events.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience.
- Certifications: Certification in a relevant audit discipline, such as BSI Lead Auditor, ISACA CISA, PECB Sr. Lead Auditor, or PCI-ISA.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in a relevant compliance, risk, or auditing role, with 5+ years of experience in cyber and/or corporate security organization.
- Soft Skills: Critical thinking skills, organization and time management skills, interpersonal skills, coaching skills, teamwork and collaboration, and a growth mindset.
