As a Licensed Practical Nurse with us, you will be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans under the direction of the Director of Care or designate, ensuring the physical, psychological and social care needs of residents are met.
  • Direct and assist care aides in providing high-quality care, adhering to established procedures and protocols.
  • Administer medication, monitor and record administration, and educate residents as needed.
  • Create and manage nursing care plans, participating in evaluations of current and future medical needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care treatments and communicate significant changes to the Health & Wellness Manager or designate and/or the resident's physician.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Completion of Nursing diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the provincial nursing regulatory body and good standing.
  • Previous experience in a residential care setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infection control procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with peers, residents, visitors, and operational partners.
  • Superior organizational skills for handling multiple requests.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, kneel, and lift 25 pounds.
