Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Assist in preparing and serving food to customers, including portioning and wrapping food items, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Housekeeping and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
