Sales Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at Haither Trading Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and overseeing the sales process.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise Staff: Lead and manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Assign Sales Workers: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that the right person is in the right role to maximize sales potential.
- Hire and Train: Hire and train new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
- Teach Interest Courses: Teach interest or professional development courses to staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed correctly.
- Exhibit Design: Plan and develop permanent and temporary or moveable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
- Order Merchandise: Order merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that products are available for sale.
- Authorize Returns: Authorize the return of merchandise, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are available to meet customer demands.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise, ensuring that sales targets are met and that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to management.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and that products are available for sale.
- Supervise Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Cash: Manage cash, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed correctly.
- Oversee Payroll: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring that staff are paid correctly and on time.
- Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and guidance to staff to help them improve their performance.
- Supervise Office Staff: Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.Support for Newcomers and Refugees
- Participate in Government Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Recruit Newcomers: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
- Provide Diversity Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Participate in Youth Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Participate in Veteran Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
- Participate in Indigenous Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Offer Mentorship: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Develop Relationships: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
- Provide Cultural Training: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Facilitate Access: Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Participate in Mature Worker Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
- Participate in Visible Minority Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
- Apply Hiring Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Offer Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Provide Diversity Training: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
