Job Title: Ramp Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Ramp Attendant to join our team at North Star Air Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft, passengers, and cargo. This includes driving and operating ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment, positioning passenger loading stairs and operating aircraft cargo doors, and unloading, sorting, and routing cargo and passenger baggage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and operate ramp-servicing vehicles and equipment
  • Position passenger loading stairs and operate aircraft cargo doors
  • Marshall or tow aircraft to gate positions
  • Unload, sort, and route cargo and passenger baggage
  • Transport freight between aircraft and airport warehouse
  • Clean and prepare aircraft interior for passengers and wash aircraft exterior
  • Operate forklift
  • Organize and maintain inventory
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
