About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to join our team at Pardeep Kaur Kang, Jatinder Singh Kang. As a Companion Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and comfort.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosages and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Transportation and Errands: Accompany clients on outings, assist with transportation, and complete errands as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment)
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, walking
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability
