Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hampton Inn Waterloo. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and services, ensuring that we stay within our means.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our facilities and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or renovations.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a high level of pressure.
- Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Manual Dexterity: Use manual dexterity to perform tasks that require precision and attention to detail.
Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
