About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bus Driver to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting children from their schools to their respective centres, while providing a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Safely transport children from their schools to their centres
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children during transportation
  • Report any concerns or issues to the Coordinator
Requirements
  • Minimum Class 2 Driver's License or willingness to obtain
  • 19 years of age or older (per licensing)
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with clear Vulnerable Sector Search & physical ability to do all duties required
  • Current Child Care First Aid, CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain
  • Three professional references
