At EVERGREEN PAPER PRODUCTS, we are seeking a skilled Machinist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machine tools and equipment to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts to ensure accurate production
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and adjust production machinery to meet quality and productivity standards
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
Work Environment

As a Machinist Specialist at EVERGREEN PAPER PRODUCTS, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work efficiently and accurately to meet production demands. You will also be required to work overtime as needed to ensure production goals are met.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
