Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at PRABHSIMRAN CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our electrical services department.

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This includes designing and constructing single-phase and multiphase services, testing and measuring voltage and loads, and troubleshooting faults.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install underground wiring and cables
  • Design and construct single-phase and multiphase services
  • Test and measure voltage and loads
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults
  • Connect power to audio and visual equipment
  • Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Electrician will work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty environments. They will be required to work in construction, repair, and maintenance settings, and may be exposed to hazardous locations.

Education:

The Electrician must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
