Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Restaurex Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling food preparation, customer service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food to customers, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and serving food at counters or buffet tables.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, restocking refrigerators and salad bars as needed.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas, following health and safety guidelines.
Work Environment
  • Fast-Paced Kitchen: Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Reliability: Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
Work Details
  • Permanent Position: Permanent position with a regular schedule.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 35 hours per week.
