Mortgage Enforcement Law Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Law Clerk to support our Mortgage Enforcement Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise property managers and assist in sale negotiations.
- Communicate with clients, property managers, realtors, appraisers, opposing parties/lawyers, and other third parties.
- Draft pleadings, Notice of Sale, and correspondences, including demand letters, arrears letters, and discharge letters.
- Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working as a Law Clerk in a related practice area is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Residential Tenancies Act, 2006.
- College Diploma/University Degree in a relevant field is a must.
- Exceptional computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office).
- The ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
- The ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Strong work ethic.
- Reliable, with an excellent attendance history.
- Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
A satisfactory criminal records check will be required from the selected candidate as a condition of employment.
