**Job Title:** Senior Java/Python Developer

**Job Summary:**

Open Systems Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java/Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems using Java and Python.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems using Java and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software systems.

**Requirements:**

  • 10+ years of experience with Java and 5+ years of experience with Python development.
  • Extensive experience building distributed, service-oriented, and microservice-style architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful service implementations, rational databases, and Linux/Unix Shell.
  • Strong understanding of different storage architectures and their appropriate application.
  • Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Sonar Cube, and BitBucket.
  • Excellent knowledge of multithreading, thread-pools, and strong OOP and OOAD skills.
  • Experience in software development SDLC (Agile).

**Education and Certification:**

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in computer science or mathematics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills.
